Wynn Macau is a hotel and casino that opened in September 2006 by Steve Wynn. Steve Wynn wanted to bring the opulence and western style of his Las Vegas resorts to Asia in which he succeeded as this hotel and casino is rated five star and is the first of its kind in China.
The building was initially only 24 floors high but in 2010 the 57 story high Encore Tower was added, thereby making Wynn Macau the biggest hotel and casino on the island.

Wynn Macau offers 1 014 rooms and suites of which 414 of them are situated in the Encore Tower. There are two fitness centres and spas located in the Wynn Macau tower and in the Encore Tower. The Spa in the Encore tower is by appointment only and guests must pay extra to use this facility. There is also a Salon in the Wynn Tower and a heated swimming pool with cabanas and a Jacuzzi.
Attractions at the establishment include 4 installation art pieces with various show times during the day and The Moon Jellyfish Aquarium can be found in the Encore tower lobby. There is also the Tree of Prosperity and the Dragon of Fortune in the shopping arcade as well as the Performance Lake which is a large water fountain choreographed to lights, music and flames at night.
The Wynn Macau has more than 25 upmarket European designer stores to choose from. With names like Tiffany & co. Ferrari, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Christian Dior and Giorgio Armani amongst others.

There is a choice between fine dining and casual establishments that include the Golden Flower which is a two Michelin star restaurant; Wing Lei serving Cantonese cuisine; the Italian Ristorante IL Teato; Mizumi that serves Japanese fare and the more casual establishments such as 99 Noodle; Red 8; Café Encore and café Esplanade.
There are three bars located throughout the property. These include the Cinnebar which is a lounge bar; the Cristal Bar located in the Encore Tower lobby and the Wing Lei Lounge which a 24 hour bar located in the casino.
